Most of our films capture the wedding day as it unfolds, most stories are full of simple moments that bring tears of joy to your eyes. This film focused on Chelsey and Wesleys first look, and the afternoon they spent with friends and family during their portrait session.

Their wedding was set in the heart of Mississippi at the Verandah Curlee House, a newly renovated historic home built in the early civil war days, and stands as a reminder of the past, and teaches us lessons in working together as a country, caring for our neighbors, and making a new world of love and harmony. Without our history, good and bad, we would not be the nation that we are today. Holding a wedding on these grounds is a beautiful architectural backdrop.

The warm fall day was simply perfect as family and friends gathered to celebrate Chelsey and Wesleys love for each other, as they start a new generation of heritage. If you’ve ever imagined a couple that was kind, caring, and loving to everyone that crosses their path, this couple is the model for all of us to follow. As the day unfolded, we captured a sense of this couple and their friends.

The outdoor wedding was held on the lawn of the historic property, it was like a page out of Southern Living Magazine, peaceful, beautiful and charming. Chelsey found us through a friend of hers from college, we had filmed a wedding in Tennessee that had a very similar story. Over the years of photographing and filming hundreds of weddings, we’ve meet some of the most loving, kind families in the world. It’s a honor to capture weddings like these for so many wonderful families.

This wedding had a fall theme, with warm rich colors of burgandy, dark winter green, delicate pinks and white. The wedding arbor was beautiful decorated in flowers to surround the couple during their vows and was the perfect setting for this beautiful ceremony.

Perhaps the most memorable moment of the wedding besides Chelsey’s perfect kiss, was their send off in the 1960’s VW Convertible surrounded by hundreds of sparklers, with the distant cheers of celebration from their many family and friends. The reception was held in an old warehouse in the downtown square, lit with cafe lighting, candles and chandeliers. The reception hall was decorated with the same fall colors as the wedding ceremony, and the cake was a beautiful vanilla creme wedding cake placed in the center of the room.

We hope you love this film trailer, and remember it forever. It was the perfect wedding day sealed with a perfect kiss!
